Projects 2018

Playground Project

Our main project this year has been to raise funds to improve our outdoor playground spaces.  We have been trying to raise enough money to purchase specialised, accessible, fixed playground equipment (eg swings, roundabouts etc) to make our playgrounds exciting and adventurous places, which can be accessed by all our pupils.

We are very excited to announce that we have now received enough grant funding to progress our project and the playground equipment will be installed over the summer holiday.

Our funding is coming from a number of extremely generous sources:

£2,000 – Tesco Bags of Help fund – thank you so much for voting for our project – we are very grateful for your support

£5,000 – The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation (via our PTA) – a charity which supports the provision of specialist equipment

£20,000 – Lord’s Taverners – this grant has really made the project possible and we are very fortunate to receive such a large amount.

£4,000 – PTA contribution – this comes from all the wonderful donations and fund-raising that the PTA get involved with every year.

Every pupil can fulfil their potential within the unique PEAK curriculum, making learning motivating and relevant. This will be achieved through team work, dedication, patience and respect. We encourage our pupils, families and others to be involved every step of the way.
