Here we pay tribute and say a massive thank you to all the wonderful individuals and organisations who have gone out of their way to support the vision and values of Peak School over the past 12 months. This may be via giving up their time to help the school or by making a financial or ‘in-kind’ donation to our PTA in its fund-raising efforts.
Great news – the PTA has been successful in securing £4000 of grant from the Morrisons Foundation. This is to support our Rebound Therapy programme and will enable us to buy a new trampoline and other essential equipment. A massive thank you to all at the Morrisons Foundation and staff at the Morrison’s store in Chapel-en-le-Frith who handed the cheque over to the Chair of our PTA, Jen Jackson.
We have been successful in our bid to the High Peak Borough Council Councillor’s Initiative Fund, for funding of £500 towards the cost of ICT equipment for our pupils. Many thanks to Cllr Caroline Howe and Cllr John Kappes for their generous support with this bid.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped to make our Christmas Fair such a success this year. We made a fantastic total of just over £2000.
Thanks to everyone who sent in items for the Bags2School collection in September 2016. The PTA received a cheque for £94
Also in September we received a very generous donation from Mr and Mrs Page, on behalf of Bob and Jennifer Banks – thank you very much for your kindness.
Thanks also to Andrew Bingham MP, who came to visit our school in November 2016, and has so far enabled a total of £210 in donations to be made to the PTA from organisations he works with.
Every pupil can fulfil their potential within the unique PEAK curriculum, making learning motivating and relevant. This will be achieved through team work, dedication, patience and respect. We encourage our pupils, families and others to be involved every step of the way.
